Barbacoa


This barbacoa recipe is simple to make in your slow cooker, and makes the most tender, flavorful, delicious barbacoa beef.

Ingredients
∙ Serves 8-12

3 lbs Chuck, fat roast

3 Bay leaves
4 cloves Garlic
1 (4-ounce) can Green chiles
1 tbsp Mexican oregano, dried
1 White onion, finely chopped (about 1 cup), small
Condiments
2 Chipotles in adobo sauce
1/4 cup Lime juice, fresh
Baking & Spices
1 tsp Black pepper
1/4 tsp Cloves, ground
2 tsp Salt
Oils & Vinegars
2 tbsp Apple cider vinegar
Nuts & Seeds
1 tbsp Cumin, ground
Liquids
1/2 cup Beef stock or water
